from MANNA for something you WILL be buying, and a percentage of it (you get what you pay for) goes to help our church!! A big thank you to all who bought Manna gift cards last month with proceeds of $97, this money will assist the Trustees with the outside painting of the church. Manna order blanks are available in the church office or narthex. Make checks payable to WCC. Orders are due the first Sunday of the month with the distribution on the second Sunday of the month. The Wednesday Bible Study meets each Wednesday, 9:30 am, at Mariner Health

(in the back of the facility/Transitions room)

Faith Conversations meets the first and third Sunday of the month.  It’s easy to join in—each session standson its own!!

Confirmation meets the 2nd and the 4th Sunday of this month.


KNITTING AND CROCHETING FOR MISSION AND  FUN!!  Sassy Stitchers meets on the third Monday of every month at 7 pm in the Library.

Craft Monday's Please continue to work on your home craft projects

The Crafters could use some buttons, any medium or large size please. Just drop them off at the church office.


Bell Choir practice has begun again rehearsals are at 8:30 am every Saturday. We welcome new bell ringers Jr. High and up. Reading music is not a requirement.


BEDS: Sock It To ‘Um! The Mission Team is passing out paper socks that a group of Mini Mission Makers/Sunday School Children made to collect your donation to our area’s BEDS pro-gram, which sleeps and feeds the homeless. What a wonderful way to share God’s love with those in need. If you are unable to make a monetary donation, new warm socks are also being ac-cepted and would be a very welcome gift for the cold days ahead.


The Community Circle will hold its Annual Christmas Luncheon at J. C. George’s located at 181 Countryside Plaza in Countryside on Monday, December 4th at 11:30 am. The restaurant is on LaGrange Road in the Home Depot Plaza East parking and handicap accessible. The cost is $15 and everyone is invited to join us. Transitions Our annual Christmas get together will be at Mary Straube’s house on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at 6:30 pm. We will be collecting new unwrapped toys for the children at Constance Morris House. Also, we will be having a wrapped ornament exchange. Come for food, fun, and fellowship.
